South Africa's domestic rugby tournament, the Currie Cup is getting to the exciting stages. All 5 of the major provinces are within a shout of securing quarter final berths. Last seasons champions, the Cheetahs are top on 45 points, Western Province sit in second with 42 points. Then comes the Sharks on 41 points, the Bulls are in fourth and on 40 points and the Lions in fifth with 36 points.
This weekend sees the Bulls play the Griquas, the Pumas play the Falcons, the Sharks take on the Cheetahs and the Lions take on Western Province at their home ground Ellis Park. It'll certainly be an interesting weekend as the Bulls should get maximum points, but the other four top teams play amongst each other and anything's possible with the log so tight.
